What is the yearly membership subscription? 45 Euro is the annual membership subscription. Your membership is valid from the day you join until the same date a year later.
How long can I stay with a member? Home Exchanges can be for as long as each party decides. If you are being hosted, 2-3 days only is allowed unless both parties agree BEFOREHAND for a longer stay.
What advice do you have for successful exchanges, and such things as insurance etc? Click here for a page of advice .
What do I get for my membership? You are issued with a username and password to enter the 'members only' area teacherstravelweb.com. Here you will find individual listings of members with descriptions of their homes , areas, availablility of public transport and an email address to contact them directly to suggest a home exchange or to request a short stay in their home. All accommodation is free with members, and you will also be offered a free breakfast if you are being hosted.

How do I pay the membership?Teachers Travel Web accepts payments by online banking and transfers from your bank to its bank account in Belgium . You can also send a cheque written out to Christiane Vanderhaegen. We are currently working on online payments. Memberships last one year from the time of sign up to a full year later.Click here for details
Who may join and travel on the membership? Anyone who teaches something to someone, may apply to become a member of Teachers Travel Web. Retired teachers are also eligible.The membership also covers their travelling partner and children but does not extend to 2 or more couples travelling together. Each couple would have to take out membership in that case.
How do I get my home listed? Join as a member by filling in the membership form here, and your listing will be added to the 'members only' part of the website by our webmaster. Listings can be changed at any time. In fact we encourage members to keep them up to date.
