I do relief teaching and itinerant music teaching (Barbershop) at the local high school. I enjoy cycling and
have some picturesque rides which detour past some good cafes. I also try to go for bush walks (hiking). I enjoy music and
singing and the house has a piano. I like people and interactive travel and cycled in South China a few years ago.

Birkenhead is a housing area but has a number of bush reserves and there is a wharf for fishing nearby. There
are two large shopping centres within 10 minutes drive.The city is readily accessed across the harbour bridge with a major
museum featuring Maori and Pacific treasures and other tourist venues. Auckland has many beautiful beaches and areas for
outdoor pursuits as well as cultural centres.
